A look at the floor. While it looks dirty, it is actually fairly
clean. The grated floor is about five inches above the actual
floor. This allows droppings and spilled (or vomited) food
to drop down and out of reach of the birds. Any less than
about 5" and they can snake their heads down and get the grains.
